Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy sets out what's allowed — and what isn't — when using Tellr. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using Tellr, you agree to follow it, along with Reddit's rules and the law. We've kept it plain-language on purpose.

Use it for genuine participation

Tellr helps you join real Reddit conversations that are relevant to your brand and draft replies in your voice. Use it to add genuine, helpful contributions to those conversations — not to deceive, spam, or artificially manipulate discussion.

Follow Reddit's rules

You're responsible for making sure what you post complies with Reddit's Content Policy and each subreddit's own rules. We draft replies for you, but you approve every one before it goes live — so the content that's published is yours. Don't post where self-promotion isn't allowed, and don't use the service to evade a ban or subreddit restriction.

What you may not do

You may not use Tellr to post, promote, or facilitate:

  • Illegal content or unlawful activity of any kind.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that targets or demeans a person or group.
  • Deceptive, fraudulent, or materially misleading claims, or endorsements presented as independent where a paid or affiliated relationship should be disclosed.
  • Defamatory content, or content that infringes someone's intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Impersonation of another person, brand, or organization.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, or links to harmful or deceptive destinations.
  • Sexually explicit, graphically violent, or otherwise policy-violating material.
  • Spam, vote manipulation, or automated mass-posting designed to game a community.

Don't misuse the platform

Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Tellr, our providers, or other users' accounts. Accounts are per brand/domain — don't create additional accounts to evade limits, pricing, or an enforcement action.

Reputation & removal services

Where we help remove a damaging Reddit post, we pursue removal only through legitimate channels — platform-policy and Terms-of-Service reports, defamation and legal takedown routes, and direct moderator outreach. We won't use these services to suppress lawful, truthful speech through improper means, to harass, or to unlawfully target an individual, and you agree not to request that we do.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for everything you approve and publish through Tellr. You confirm you have the right to represent the brand you're promoting and to make the claims in your comments, and that doing so doesn't breach any law or third-party right.

Enforcement

If we believe you're violating this policy, we may remove content, pause or limit your account, or terminate it — and we'll cooperate with lawful requests. Serious or repeated violations can lead to immediate suspension without a refund for the offending activity. We enforce this policy at our reasonable discretion.
